BIOGRAPHY
Harry is a Sound Designer with a passion for innovation, new media and practical techniques. His holistic approach to Sound seeks frictionless creative practice, enabled by a concrete technical understanding. This foundation in Sound technology and theory has allowed him to move between industries, from traditional Film and TV, through to Games and Immersive Media (VR).
He first became involved in Sound through playing music and recording bands while in school. His desire to better understand the technology and processes involved led him to study for a BSc degree in Sound Engineering at Birmingham, which he later complimented by attaining a MA degree in Sound Design for Film and TV from the National Film and Television School.
During his time at NFTS Harry completed work on projects that have since received multiple industry accolades and recognition from international film festivals. The animation Meow Or Never was recently shortlisted for the Student BAFTA awards, is being screened at festivals such as Sitges and Austin, and has been featured on MUBI and in Variety. The immersive project, Eldfell VR, was recently exhibited as part of the BFI London Film Festival.
Harry enjoys the challenges presented by working in different fields of Sound for media.
